Dispatcher Resume Example made with Resume Star

Trucking and logistics companies hire dispatchers who keep trucks moving and customers informed when plans change. Show the size of your fleet, your on-time numbers and the systems you use.

Tips for a dispatcher resume

  • Give your fleet size. Number of trucks or drivers you dispatch, loads per week and the regions you cover.
  • Show on-time and efficiency. On-time delivery rate, empty miles cut and backhauls booked.
  • Name your systems. TMS (McLeod, TMW, Samsara), ELD platforms and load boards like DAT or Truckstop.
  • Show compliance. Hours of Service monitoring and DOT rules matter to every carrier.
  • Show how you handle problems. Breakdowns, weather and late loads: say how you reroute and keep customers updated.
