Tips for an LPN / LVN resume

  • List your license first. LPN or LVN, the issuing state board, and whether it is multistate (compact).
  • Show your clinical skills. Medication pass, wound care, IV therapy (if certified in your state), G-tube feeding and assessments.
  • Give your patient load. Residents per med pass or patients per shift shows you can handle the workload.
  • Mention leadership. Supervising CNAs, charge duties or precepting new staff.
  • Show the CNA-to-LPN path. List your CNA experience too. It proves you know every part of resident care.
